The staff taking care of the museum is truly remarkably friendly. We really enjoyed it and I send heartfelt greetings to the friendly young woman from Chemnitz, she captured my heart🥰, the East sticks together ❤️🫠. We also had great luck meeting an older man who is apparently working with the Czech Republic to create a museum about the different peoples. He could tell us so many interesting things 😇. This is the best place to enjoy the Three Rivers Corner. The ticket is very cheap. We were totally surprised because we only paid 7 euros for 1 adult and 1 child. Wow...perfect. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. It's definitely worth visiting the exhibition, the tower, and the courtyard. I happily recommend this place.

Great restaurant and very worth-seeing museum. Fantastic view of the city of Passau. The ascent is quite strenuous. Therefore, I recommend the shuttle bus that goes directly up from the town hall. There's still a steep climb after that. There is a lift from the bus stop, but it wasn't working during my visit. The restaurant has very good cuisine and a great view. The staff was quick and friendly. Food and drinks arrived quite fast, even though the restaurant was very busy.

A must when visiting Passau, just for the wonderful view of the old town and the rivers. But the fortress itself also impresses with its size and very well-maintained condition. We had our dog with us, which is why we skipped the museum visit and climbing the observation tower. But it was still a worthwhile experience. The path from the city up the roughly 300 steps is strenuous, but as mentioned, the beautiful view compensates for it. If that's too much, you can also use the shuttle bus or the elevator, but then you miss the many lizards that sunbathe on the walls and stones along the way on nice warm days.

The path to the fortress is very steep and strenuous, but in the end, it's worth it. On one hand, the view of Passau is fantastic, and on the other hand, the museum is really interesting and very informative. It's no problem to spend an entire day at the fortress. Especially since there is also a restaurant that can score with the magnificent view.
