Municipal Youth Center (Heiliggeistgasse): Upcoming Open Stages

In the coming months, the municipal youth center will once again host evenings with open lists and classic poetry slam rules: your own, previously unperformed texts, fixed time limit, no props, scoring by the audience. Registration usually takes place online in advance or spontaneously on site, as long as slots are available. Admission and start times are published with each event announcement.

Newcomers can expect short slots and a supportive audience atmosphere. Texts in German or English are generally accepted; final details are provided in the respective call for entries.

Ortsspitze: Poetry Slam at the Tent Festival (Summer 2026)

For summer 2026, the tent festival at Ortsspitze will publish its program in spring. Experience shows that a poetry slam evening is usually part of the line-up. The stage is located directly at the Dreiflüsseeck – an atmospheric setting for performance, language, and a live audience.

University of Passau & Campus: Open-Air and Indoor Formats (SoSe 2026)

For the summer semester 2026, open stages and slam evenings are again expected on and around the campus. Typical formats are open-air slams on campus grounds as well as student-organized indoor events in university rooms.
